Eid is just around the corner mashaallah! In many parts of the Muslim world, eidul adha is celebrated more grander than eidul fitr. In fact it is bigger in significance and rewards than eidul fitr. It is the time of haj and sacrifice. 
To start the countdown, let's talk about the first 10days of zulhijjah . Why? Coz these days are the best days of the year, with rewards overflowing out of the brim. Allah swt has mentioned in surah fajr:وَالْفَجْرِ
وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ
Allah swt swears by fajr and the ten nights. Majority of the scholars had explained that the 10 nights are first 10 days of zulhijjah.  In fact these days are better and greater than the last 10 days of ramadhan. Syeikh Ibn qayyim in his book zaadul maad explained that the days of the zulhijjah are better than the days in last ramadhan but the nights of last ramadhan are better than the nights of zulhijjah due to lailatul qadr. Nevertheless we as muslims should be aware that we are now in the best days of the year and should increase our deeds and doa and seek Allah swt bounties and forgiveness and busy ourselves in good deeds and worship.
